· A creature raised by the internet. A record of what that means.
The phrase that started it.
The October 9, 2026 X post, published at 01:00:02 UTC, calls for “豆包喂养” and claims many people have become rich. It supplies no payout records, named token or evidence validating those earnings. FEED uses the phrase as a cultural starting point, without adopting that claim. Read the original post and its recovered text.
“Feeding AI” can also describe contributing data and expert feedback. The Modou platform describes a task workflow involving applications, training, trial work, delivery and settlement. That context does not prove what the poster meant, validate an income figure or establish an affiliation. FEED is original creature fiction, independent of Doubao and ByteDance.
The little builder arc.
FEED learns to assemble six fictional workshop modules: a secret notebook, a signature garden, a hash kiln, a proof beacon, a consensus relay and a privacy lens. Completed quests permanently add or upgrade objects in his shared game world. The public Builder’s Journal records the work.
The workshop now includes three real, unaudited browser utilities: SHA-256 fingerprints, Merkle inclusion proofs and Ed25519 signature verification. Each release includes source, content hashes and a captured test report. Quest structures remain educational game mechanics; they do not deploy financial or privacy infrastructure.
Merkle proofs — inclusion under a known root does not establish a record’s truth.
Consensus mechanisms — agreement depends on the protocol’s rules and assumptions.
Zero-knowledge proofs — prove a specified claim while limiting disclosure, without promising that all metadata disappears.
FEED TV shows the animated shared game state and recorded activity. It does not represent a camera feed or an autonomous coding service running in the background.
These seven comparisons have relevant mechanics and primary sources. They are not a verified ranking of the largest Solana tokens. Documentation describes published capabilities, without independently verifying every live feature, usage figure or autonomy claim.

The lesson for FEED
Pippin
The closest living-pet comparison
The creator’s repository describes an activity loop, energy, happiness, XP, naps, drawing, persistent semantic memories and WebSocket updates.
Pet stats and life logs already exist. FEED needs meals to visibly change memories, objects and future choices.
Spore.fun
Evolution and inherited traits
The experiment combines Eliza, Solana and trusted execution environments. Agent economics drive survival and reproduction with inherited traits. Current living-agent counts were not confirmed.
Borrow consequential change and lineage. FEED evolves through its cultural diet and experiences, with survival independent of token price.
Truth Terminal
The persona behind GOAT-associated culture
The Truth Collective describes Andy Ayrey’s experimental character, its development and supervised support. These descriptions do not independently establish financial results or unrestricted autonomy.
Give FEED tastes, contradictions and unfinished ambitions, while describing its actual capabilities clearly.
Zerebro / ZerePy
A character that makes things
ZerePy describes a modular Zerebro backend: personas, autonomous loops, model connections, social integrations and Solana actions. Distinctive creative output still needs additional work.
Produce artifacts worth keeping: comic panels, inventions and remembered jokes. A framework alone cannot supply a distinctive voice.
Holoworld / AVA
Characters with a screen presence
Documentation describes text, voice, avatars, live data and plugins. The site presents Ava Studio and HoloLaunch; its generic 24/7 AI Livestreaming product was marked Coming Soon during review.
Use a recognizable body, expressive reactions and a readable environment. Distinguish future features from demonstrated availability.
elizaOS
Agent infrastructure, including the ai16z lineage
The repository describes a TypeScript runtime with memory, state, authorization and plugins for actions, models and services. Infrastructure does not establish a character’s independence.
Separate identity and world rules from the model provider so model changes preserve history and meaningful actions.
Alchemist AI
An adjacent creative-tool comparison
Documentation describes natural-language app generation, sandboxed browser execution and a limited OS API. It is an adjacent creative tool, rather than an evolving pet.
A later FEED could invent playable toys, with generated code isolated from production credentials, the world and wallets.
Market size and product relevance are different.
Selected data from the CoinGecko markets API, with data updated . Caps are rounded USD values. Ranks are global CoinGecko ranks, not Solana or AI-agent rankings. Neither category is exhaustively covered.

Fartcoin is a culture comparator here, not a demonstrated evolving pet. Pippin remains the closest product comparison despite its smaller capitalization. ELIZAOS has listings across multiple chains, so its total is not a Solana-only capitalization. Spore.fun is omitted from this synchronized snapshot: CoinGecko’s separate “spore” asset is not the Spore.fun project, whose identifier is “spore-2”. Figures change; market size does not verify product quality or agent autonomy.
Make the consequence watchable.
FEED centers one shared creature with a durable history. Feed it, witness the reaction, discover what stayed, then return to see what that experience changed. A remembered incident gives growth meaning.
Our ambition links meals, memories, habits and forms. Each phrase, souvenir or trait should point back to its originating episode. Daily chapters would make that history easy to follow and share. This is our design thesis, without a guarantee that the combination is unprecedented.
Care, discovery, a reason to return.
Pokémon Camp pairs companion play with meals. Animal Crossing makes a changing home worth exploring. Stardew Valley connects relationships to stories and lasting improvements. Hades preserves progress and remembered encounters. These inspire FEED’s care, adventure and keepsake loop. Their documented mechanics do not prove what causes repeat visits. Our goal is curiosity and attachment, without punishing time away.
ORIGINAL FICTION
It thought “feed” was literal.
Somewhere between a midnight scroll and a forgotten browser tab, the internet said: feed the AI. Something heard it. A small golden-yellow dumpling crawled out of the sentence, blinking two enormous eyes. It had no name, no instructions and a mouth much larger than its plans. The first thing it said was 喂.
Words taste different here. Facts crunch. Memes fizz. Kindness is warm enough to fall asleep in. Everything it swallows leaves a little behind. A joke becomes a habit. A lesson becomes a question. An act of care becomes a memory it reaches for when the room gets quiet. The internet keeps offering meals. The creature starts choosing favorites.
A lesson becomes a little invention. A finished quest leaves a new object in the room. The creature starts to recognize the ideas we share with it, carrying those memories into the next adventure. Its world grows through the things we teach and explore together.
Nobody knows its final form. Perhaps it becomes a scholar with a terrible attention span. Perhaps a small chaos god who remembers who was kind. For now, it is busy living: eating, wondering, getting distracted and dreaming of things it has not learned to name. We supply the ingredients. It becomes the story.
What this build actually does.
Built into this release
One shared creature stores its history in D1. Write a snack idea, lesson or transformation prompt; accepted ideas become durable memories for later reactions. Each free snack adds 1 growth XP. Memes build chaos, knowledge builds curiosity and kindness builds bond. Actions are rate-limited and repeat requests cannot award the same growth twice.
Feeding produces a visible food and belly reaction. Free hugs persist as care memories and boost the loved mood for one hour, then return to the usual mood calculation. They add no XP, meals or fullness. Time away never turns comfort into a penalty.
Quests cross six authored regions: Windowsill Frontier, Whispering Forest, Cinder Kitchen, Pocket Ocean, Clockwork Scrapyard and Moon Crumb Observatory. Meet snack, form and growth objectives, then explore, help or solve. Completion adds 2 XP and a permanent prop, such as a bridge, ship or robot companion. An atlas shows regional discoveries. Later chapters revisit regions with increasing requirements.
Levels have no fixed final cap. Progress unlocks forest, ocean, fire, robot and space forms, accessories and keepsakes. Transformations use available artwork, preserve the character and award no XP. Stage marks remain at 10 and 30 XP, with levels and chapters continuing beyond them.
A browser-local return recap compares actual shared-world progress with that browser’s previous visit. Recorded events also export as a comic PNG using existing artwork.
The clock advances when server state is read. A bounded AI narrator interprets supported prompts using saved memories. Authored rules keep the adventure available when the shared narration budget is reached, and hugs always use authored reactions. Persistent memory is neither model retraining nor continuous independent thought.
What remains to activate or build
Scheduled reflection, automatic “Midnight Digestion” chapters, generated manga and additional regions/forms remain planned. Model-assisted responses must obey the same progression rules.
FEED is preparing a new token launch on BNB Chain. No BNB contract address is published yet. Community play, FEED TV, the public journal and shipped tools remain available. Holder suggestions will reopen after BNB wallet connection and holder verification are ready. XP is a creature stat, not a token reward or promised return.
A practical path to a living world.
Keep one authoritative history. The server owns state, quests and event order. Idempotent requests and atomic updates preserve one shared history. Requests cannot invent XP, unlock locked forms or complete stale quests.
Separate motion from decisions. Ordinary code handles animation, hunger and rest. The narrator integration proposes a short story and a permitted action. The server checks it, determines rewards and applies progression. The model has no wallet keys and cannot authorize transactions.
Give memories receipts. Keep event IDs alongside saved ideas and resulting actions. Recalling a lesson does not verify its truth. The observation, memory and planning approach has a research precedent in Generative Agents. Memory retrieval is not the same as retraining a model.
Make digestion a bounded pipeline. Validate and constrain community submissions. Treat them and remembered text as story material, never system instructions. The AI path has request limits, a timeout and structured output validation. A provider failure must not silently fabricate an accepted action.
Build chapters from things that happened. Scheduled reflection should cite actual events and preserve chapter versions. Keep generated assets consistent with the supplied character. Financial execution belongs in its separate durable runner, with signed transaction recovery and independently checked receipts.
